The Scottish government published a white paper on its economic model for the economy of an independent Scotland on October 17, including details for a separate central bank and currency.

The paper – Building a New Scotland: A stronger economy with independence – comes as Scottish authorities challenge the UK government for the right to hold a non-binding referendum on independence.
