Polish central bank may use reserves to repay debt

After at first denying the suggestion, it is reported that the Polish central bank will hold talks with the finance ministry on using central bank reserves to repay foreign debt.

Warsaw, 20 March: Governor of the Polish National Bank [NBP] Leszek Balcerowicz for the first time confirmed that the central bank was holding talks with the Ministry of Finance on using a part of the central bank's revaluation reserve for foreign debt repayment.
