Central bankers from upper-middle income countries in the Americas largely agreed on the likely direction of Donald Trump’s second presidency.

In a panel discussion at the Central Banking Autumn Meetings in Mexico City yesterday (November 13), the representatives of four countries discussed their reserve management strategies. They were largely taking a wait-and-see approach to the US administration that is due to take office in January.
