Institutions from Africa tend to release fewer publications

Comprehensive reports on central banks’ monetary policy decisions are published at varied frequencies annually, the Monetary Policy Benchmarks 2023 reveal.

In-depth reports are published at a median of four times annually and an average of 3.5 times in a year, according to responses from 34 institutions. The maximum is 11 times per year, and the minimum just once.
