Federal Reserve – Beige Book (July 2011)

The latest edition of the Federal Reserve's Beige Book, published on Wednesday, shows that economic activity in the US continued to grow, but that the pace has moderated in many districts.

The report, prepared by the Philadelphia Federal Reserve and based on information collected on or before July 15, shows the six districts nearest the Atlantic seaboard – Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond and Atlanta – reported a slowdown in activity since the previous Beige Book report, with
