The economic upturn remains anaemic in Finland, according to the second instalment of the biannual Bank of Finland Bulletin, published in December.

The central bank, like many others, noted that the seeming strength of the recovery was a result of strongly expansionary monetary and fiscal decisions made to stem the effects of the financial crisis, and that endogenous growth was not yet fully revived.
