The Bank for International Settlements is scaling up the banking services it offers to central banks, as part of a new forward-looking strategy.

“Innovation BIS 2025” envisages a series of initiatives to boost international co-operation, broaden the scope of BIS research, overhaul the institution’s own technology and skills, and offer new and improved banking services to central banks. The strategy was launched at the BIS’s annual meeting on June 30.
