EU ombudsman asks Draghi to relinquish G30 seat

Prolonging the president’s membership threatens independence and public’s trust in the ECB, O’Reilly declares

The European Ombudsman has recommended Mario Draghi “suspend” his membership of the Group of 30 for the remainder of his term, following a year-long enquiry.
