Eurozone unemployment declines to 7.3%

Youth unemployment rate also falls but is much higher at 15.9%

Long-term prospects are now front of mind for accountants

Unemployment in the eurozone fell marginally to 7.3% in November, according to the official statistical agency Eurostat.

Nonetheless, the decline is modest, from a figure of 7.4% in October. Youth unemployment, classified as affecting those under 25, declined from 16.1% to 15.9%, remaining at a very high level.
