Swedish inflation rose further in October

CPIF increased year on year by 3.1% last month; Riksbank expected to reduce balance sheet

Inflation in Sweden continued increasing in October, pushed up by housing, fuel prices and costs related to recreational activities.

On November 15, Statistics Sweden reported the consumer price index at fixed interest rates (CPIF) increased year on year by 3.1% in October, up from 2.8% in September. Sveriges Riksbank targets 2% inflation.
