Barbados launches new statistics hub

Central bank simplifies data publications for “man on the street” and standardises bank reporting

The Central bank of Barbados has launched a new statistics hub on its website and enforced greater standardisation on data reported by the financial sector.

The website, CBBwebstats, is designed to simplify statistics and enable more efficient distribution of data to public groups such as researchers, financiers and journalists. It includes current and historical data on tourism, trade in goods, macroeconomics, reserves and the financial sector.
