Riksbank deputy dismisses criticism of interest rate ‘experiment'
Jansson: ‘leaning against wind' played minor part in recent policy discussions
Riksbank deputy governor Per Jansson has rejected claims the Swedish central bank experimented with monetary policy by leaning against financial imbalances before making an about-face and lowering the repo rate to 0% amid dropping inflation.
