Philippines’ Tetangco launches book on CB law

The Central Bank of the Philippines has aimed to promote "better understanding and appreciation of the law that governs central banking" through a recent publication Amando Tetangco, the governor of the central bank, said on 27 July.

"The policies and programs crafted by the central bank affect the national economy," he said. In response to "changes that are taking place in our operating environment" however, the book would have to be updated.
