Buba’s Weber: global talks on finance framework essential

Axel Weber, the president of the Bundesbank, called for politicians to put their differences aside and seek multilateral reform to regulate global financial markets through the G20.

In his speech on Sunday to the Institute of International Finance in Washington, Weber said a global response to the financial crisis was needed to balance the pattern of economic growth and strengthen the regulation of financial institutions.
