Recovery pausing, BoJ reports

The economic recovery in Japan seems to be pausing, the Bank of Japan's January report on recent economic and financial developments, released on Wednesday, said.

The report, based on data and information available at the time of the central bank's monetary policy meeting held on Monday and Tuesday, said business fixed investment and housing investment in Japan had started to pick up.
