Bank of Estonia – Economic Policy Statement

The Estonian economy picked up in the fourth quarter of last year, the Bank of Estonia said in a policy statement issued on Wednesday, noting that it outstripped growth in the preceding period by 2.6%.

Exports in Estonia were strongly correlated with those of the Baltic country's two main trading partners, Finland and Sweden, showing that it was "well integrated" with industry in the Nordic countries and had a clear role in the supply chain, the central bank said. There were advantages to be had
