Visitors to ‘play policy-maker’ at new MAS gallery
Monetary Authority of Singapore launches latest financial literacy initiative
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has opened a public 'gallery' aimed at educating people on the roles played by the bank in the financial sector and broader Singapore economy.
Contained within the central bank's premises, the gallery features interactive programs designed to let visitors 'play policy-maker' – adjusting monetary policy settings under various scenarios and conducting stress tests.
The gallery is split into two sections: Insights@MAS, which highlights activities undertaken
