Anglo restructuring deal to be sealed in January: Ireland’s Honohan

A revised proposal to restructure Anglo Irish Bank, a nationalised lender, will be in place by the end of January, Patrick Honohan, the governor of the Central Bank of Ireland, said Monday.

In comments confirmed by the central bank, Honohan told RTE, a state broadcaster, that the central bank and other authorities were working on the proposal and had agreed with the European Commission that it will be submitted and approved by the end of January 2011.
