Buba’s Weber chastises 'counterproductive' stalling on Greece
In his strongest remarks yet on the Greek debt crisis, Axel Weber, the president of the Bundesbank, labelled political foot-dragging over the eurozone-led bailout package detrimental, and called for swift and decisive action.
"The current ad-hoc discussion is counterproductive. We have to create conditions under which we can act quickly. This is the only way to guarantee safety in the markets and prevent deterioration," Weber told Bild, a German newspaper. The Bundesbank confirmed these remarks
