CBK says economy to grow 6%

The Central Bank of Kenya said Thursday 18 January in its monthly report that the economy grew at the rate of 5.8 per cent last year and will grow at 6 per cent this year.

The figure is in agreement with a report released by Old Mutual Asset Managers which also predicts that the economy will continue growing at the same rate this year despite the impending elections.
