Buba annual report-global risks to growth

GERMANY - In its annual report published on Apr 10, the Deutsche Bundesbank said that German and Eurozone growth would continue but that the downside risks had increased.

With the ECB governing council meeting on Apr 11 to decide interest rates, the German central bank warned against an interest rate reduction in the short-term, saying there are still risks to price stability stemming from the euro's depreciation against the dollar.

Price stability risks diminished noticeably at the end of 2000
