Authorities resolved median of one bank over past decade

Central banks suggest measures for resolving failed banks

Governments around the world resolved some banks over the past 10 years, but the median number of resolutions is just one, the Financial Stability Benchmarks 2024 finds.

Thirty-three respondents provided data on this section. The average is 9.5 cases, but the range is substantial, from 166 to zero. The 1.8 average in the 2023 benchmark is somewhat lower than the result this year.
