Financial stability resources are sufficient, most central banks say

Some say they need to improve access to data, training and specialist staff

Most central banks responding to the Financial Stability Benchmarks 2023 say they have sufficient resources to fulfil their tasks in this field.

Among the 30 respondents, 80% say they do have sufficient resources to adequately carry out their financial stability tasks, while 20% say they do not. Those who need more resources cite access to data, information technology equipment, more employees, and improved training.
