Households biased in views of purchasing power – BdF deputy
Bénassy-Quéré says too much emphasis placed on food and energy prices’ effects on inflation
Households overemphasise the effects of food and energy prices on inflation and therefore have a biased perception of their own purchasing power, a Banque de France deputy governor said on September 9.
