Governor says CBDC model should avoid flight from bank deposits
The governor of the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) has given details of how the country’s proposed digital currency would interact with plans for a new digital wallet.
Speaking at an event on December 13, Roberto Campos Neto said the central bank digital currency (CBDC) would interact with a new digital wallet.
