Bank of Canada publishes 30 years of staff forecasts

Online database “further step” in transparency efforts, deputy governor Wilkins says

The Bank of Canada has become one of the only central banks to release its staff projections, which are now published on a digital database launched on November 1.

The database holds over 30 years of past staff economic projections of the Canadian economy. The forecasts are published annually with a five-year lag. They are released alongside real-time macroeconomic indications and the implied policy rate path running through the staff projection.
