Highly secure location will house anti-counterfeiting and sustainable banknote operations
The central bank of the Netherlands intends to move its gold storage and banknote operations out of their current location in Amsterdam to a security forces base near Utrecht.
Camp New Amsterdam will house a new "cash centre" for the Netherlands Bank's (DNB) physical currency operations, the bank said in a statement on October 6.
