Turkey's latest inflation report shows inflation well outside central bank target

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey has claimed its monetary policy framework has been successful in containing inflation and inflation expectations, while admitting it is yet to achieve price stability.

In the bank's latest inflation report, published today (August 26), it noted that in order to achieve price stability, "all" institutions must fulfil their "duties" by taking structural factors into account.
