At its meeting on 6 April 2000 the central bank council of the Deutsche Bundesbank approved the annual accounts for the financial year 1999. The profit for the year amounted to EUR 3,903m and was transferred in full to the Federal government on 6 April 2000, pursuant to section 27 of the Bundesbank Act.
