Cipollone calls for team spirit to combat cyber attacks
ECB board member says supervisors and industry will need to collaborate more to tackle growing threat
Piero Cipollone has called on Europe’s supervisors and financial institutions to collaborate more closely to tackle the growing cyber threats from hostile states.
In a speech today (November 21) at the 10th meeting of the Euro Cyber Resilience Board for pan-European Financial Infrastructures, the European Central Bank (ECB) board member said two factors had increased the threat in recent years.
