Eurozone risks are a major concern for reserve managers

Weakness or instability in the eurozone and the risk of a major asset price plunge are the main concerns for reserve managers in the year ahead, according to HSBC Reserve Management Trends 2017, published by Central Banking.

Just over a third of respondents to a survey of central bank reserve managers cited weakness or instability in the eurozone as their primary concern. A further 30%, or 22 respondents, listed the fear of a major asset price correction in the top spot. These two groups, 47
