IMF paper explores transmission of volatility along yield curve

Authors see differences depending on progress towards inflation targeting

There are "important differences" in the transmission of volatility along the yield curve between countries with established inflation-targeting frameworks and those still in transition, a working paper finds.

Monetary policy implementation and volatility transmission along the yield curve: the case of Kenya, published by the International Monetary Fund, considers the degree to which volatility in overnight interbank rates affects volatility in other maturities.
