The Bank of England will execute its plan to begin aligning its corporate bond holdings with the goals of the Paris agreement on climate change later this month.

Today (November 5), the BoE published the final details of its plan to “green” its holdings under the corporate bond purchase scheme (CBPS).

The central bank will adjust its portfolio on a gradual path to align with net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, as measured by the weighted average carbon intensity of the portfolio.
