Turkish inflation to drift toward target over next two years, report says

Inflation rate expected to remain above 5% target for much of coming year

Turkey's inflation rate is likely to "hover around current levels for a while" before trending down, according to the latest inflation report published by the country's central bank.

Annual CPI inflation hit 8.1% in November, above the central bank's target of 5%.
Turkish inflation was expected to be "with 70% probability" between 7.4% and 8.4%, with a mid-point of 7.9%, at the end of 2015, the report said. By the end of 2016, it said, inflation was expected to be between 5.0% and 8.0%, and to
