ECB appoints three senior officials to supervisory board

Irish, French and Portuguese trio to replace current members by the end of the year

The European Central Bank (ECB) appointed senior officials from France, Ireland and Portugal as its representatives to its supervisory board on June 5.

Central Bank of Ireland deputy governor Sharon Donnery, Single Resolution Board member Pedro Machado and French senior supervisor Patrick Montagner will all have non-renewable five-year terms. 

They are succeeding Edouard Fernandez-Bollo, Kerstin af Jochnick and Elizabeth McCaul, whose terms end between August and November this year, joining Anneli
