IMF promotes Lagarde’s chief of staff; Finland appoints research director

Washington, DC: Martin Mühleisen has been appointed director of the International Monetary Fund’s strategy, policy and review department. Mühleisen currently serves as chief of staff in the office of IMF managing director Christine Lagarde. He will take up his new role once a new chief of staff has been appointed, the IMF says in a statement.
