Budapest can muscle in on rate-setting council, but will not control policy: Simor
András Simor, the governor of the National Bank of Hungary, has said Budapest's attempts to control the central bank's rate-setting council will not necessarily mean the government will get its way on monetary policy matters, in comments published on Tuesday in the UK's Financial Times.
