Riksbank says Nordea’s relocation to Finland could increase financial risks
ECB expected to decide later this month whether to grant banking licence to Nordic lender
Sveriges Riksbank estimates the relocation of Nordea’s headquarters to Finland could increase short-term financial risks, as the Bank of Finland and the European Central Bank (ECB) would take over regulatory and lender-of last-resort responsibilities.
