Rusnok rejects finance minister’s criticisms of rate rise as general election draws near

The governor of the Czech National Bank has publicly criticised the country’s finance minister over her comments on the central bank’s policy rate rise.

The dispute between the two senior policy-makers comes at a politically charged time, as the Czech Republic will hold a general election on October 8.
