Eurozone inflation remains stable
Official figures show inflation at 0.9%, unchanged from January
Inflation in the eurozone remained stable in February, after surging abruptly in January, Eurostat said today (March 17).
The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) increased year on year by 0.9% in February. In January, the index hit its current level, having surged from -0.3% in December 2020, fueling fears inflation will rapidly increase in 2021.
