Access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the eurozone improved over the most recent period surveyed, according to a report published today (June 2) by the European Central Bank (ECB).

The survey results are published biannually, and the latest spans the time between October 2014 and March 2015. Over the period, external financing rose for all sizes of firm except "micro" enterprises, which saw financing fall, albeit by a smaller amount than in the previous survey.
