Malaysia deputy pushes for progress on data
Muhammad bin Ibrahim, a deputy governor of Bank Negara Malaysia, stressed the need for improved compilation and communication of data between statisticians, compilers and end-users.
Speaking at a national statistics conference on November 9, Ibrahim highlighted a number of areas to be debated regarding the need for data in both the public and private sector, and focused on the value of more forward-looking compilation.
