The Central Bank of Armenia will "continue loosening" monetary conditions throughout the third quarter of the year as it looks to "push inflation rates to rebound", according to its latest inflation report.

Annual CPI inflation dropped to 1.8% in June. The central bank's target is 4% inflation with an acceptable deviation of 1.5 percentage points above or below, and it acknowledged it would have to do more to meet the target in a report that was drafted in August but published on October 10.
