Bank of Finland Bulletin (2010/1)

The Bank of Finland's first bulletin of the year, published on 10 June, showed the Finnish economy was slower than other Euro economies to come out of recession in the first half of 2010.

The central bank said early year statistics revealed the recovery in Finland was slower than the euro area average. The report showed GDP declined 0.4% in the first quarter of this year. This was largely attributed to Finnish exports, which lagged behind other export markets due to an unfavourable production
