Central Bank of Malta - Annual Report 2003

The Central Bank of Malta has published its Annual Report for the year ended 2003. The Report sees a modest pick-up in activity during 2004, underpinned by higher public sector investment as well as a recovery in exports.

In addition to the Governor's annual statement and an analysis of economic and financial developments in Malta and abroad, the Report includes the Bank's financial statements and a review of its policies and operations during the year.

In his statement, the Governor refers first
