Argentina's stats on the right track, IMF says

The International Monetary Fund has praised Argentina's "extraordinary efforts" and the "important progress" made in improving the quality of the nation's statistics.

Meeting on August 31, the fund's executive board considered Argentina's progress in improving the accuracy and quality of official data on the consumer price index and gross domestic product.
