Croatia makes it 25 central banks in Target2
The Croatian National Bank will participate in RTGS system from February 1
The Croatian National Bank will connect to Target2 from February 1, the European Central Bank (ECB) announced today (January 18), making it the 25th central bank to participate.
Target2 is a real-time gross settlement system for euro-denominated payments. Launched in 2007, it is run by the Banque de France, Deutsche Bundesbank and Bank of Italy. In 2014 it processed 90.3 million payments, with a total value of €492 trillion.
Each of the 20 central banks in the eurozone – the 19 member states'
