PBoC continues leadership reshuffle

Swap lines agreed with Australian and South African counterparts

The People's Bank of China (PBoC) has named two new assistant governors as it continues the reshuffle of its senior leadership, which began with the departure of three deputy governors earlier this year.

Both appointments were internal promotions. Zhang Xiaohui was previously director of the monetary policy department and also served in the financial stability analysis group.

She was appointed alongside Yang Ziqiang, whom local media reports have identified as the head of the central bank's
