Fed governor set for Treasury switch
Sarah Bloom Raskin, a governor at the US Federal Reserve, has accepted the nomination of President Barack Obama to take up the post of deputy secretary at the US Treasury, where she will be joined by long-time Fed economist Karen Dynan, nominated as assistant secretary for economic policy.
Raskin has served as a Fed governor since October 2010, before which she was the commissioner of financial regulation for the state of Maryland. Her career has also included stints at the Federal Reserve Bank
