Former Bank of England MPC member blasts QE dissenters

A former member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) today (July 18) attacked current members for voting against a further boost to the asset purchase programme in the latest Committee meeting.

Following the publication of the minutes of the Bank of England's July MPC meeting, which revealed seven members voted in favour of the measures and two against, David Blanchflower responded.

He told CentralBanking.com that Spencer Dale and Ben Broadbent, the two members who voted
